Collection: Lucky Catch Co.
There’s a saying here in Maine — you don’t just live here, you carry it with you.
I’m a 5th generation Mainer, raised in the same house my mother grew up in, listening to stories of my grandfather in the Coastguard tending the Matinicus Rock Lighthouse. Though I never met him, his legacy — and my mother’s love for the sea, the coast, and the lighthouses— shaped every bit of who I am.
For years I didn’t quite realize how lucky I was to be born here. Now, I can’t imagine calling anywhere else home.
This collection is my coastal love letter to this place — stitched in summer and sea. It’s for those who feel most themselves with wind in their hair and the ocean at their feet.
Each piece holds a bit of Maine — a bit of my home — so you are able carry it with you, wherever you may roam.
This collection was done in collaboration with Sarah Cronin, owner of Rustic Arrow, in Freeport Maine. Hear from Sarah herself, down below about Rustic Arrow and her mission, as a women owned shop here in Maine:
"Always one to follow my passion, I started Rustic Arrow with a close friend who shared the same vision and determination to open a small business that would benefit our families and our community. Since 2016 our vision has been to create a fun shopping environment, introduce new trends and help emerging brands grow. We proudly carry over 80% female designers, Fair Trade and brands that give back. We have evolved into a sustainable, family run business and an important part of the Freeport business community.
I love curating new brands! I really enjoy trade shows and craft fairs where I can see and feel products and meet the faces behind the labels. It is important for me to connect to the product that I carry – to be able to tell personal stories about the origins of a company or how we support an owner’s mission. We have become a sounding board and a launch for many local makers who are new to the retail market. My mission is to provide ethically-made, sustainable boutique accessories and apparel to the state of Maine. We are constantly seeking out new and exciting ways to partner with Maine makers and support female-owned businesses."
